How does it work?

At Fineartsharing, we are aiming on a middle class segment in art. For business members, we ask a membership of 75 euro a year, but it is free for private members. Members are able to both lent and loan art, and receive other privileges as well - like access to lectures, art events and exclusive art historical articles. Above all, new members receive a beautiful welcoming gift.

At Fineartsharing, members are borrower, lender or both. There is also the possibility to buy and sell. Via our website, you can put the artworks you would like to lend online. Members are able to browse through the collection and borrow the artworks they would like. A member requests us via the website to borrow a certain piece of art. Both the lender and the borrower have to confirm a rental agreement. The borrower transfers the monthly rental price of 1% of the total value of the artwork to the lender via us. We keep a commission of 0,2% on transactions, so the lender will receive 0,8% of the artworks’ value on a monthly base. We are managing transparent rules to determine or verify the value of an artwork. A same sort model is used in the event of a sell/ buy transaction.

There will be a lot of vulnerable artworks on our website. We expect a certain respect for the art and a thorough treatment from our members. Since not all damages can be prevented, Fine Art Sharing enclosed an insurance that secures all rented artworks against in example theft or fire damage. Transports are secured as well. We offer special packaging material for artworks with less value, so you can send your precious artworks safe and secure via a transport agency like DHL. Artworks with a higher value will be transported with one of our specialized partners in art transport. Since we arranged certain price deals, you are sure to have the best rates and most decent treatment.
